Call for Papers and Presentations
The NBAQ invites extended abstracts of research, case studies, and presentations that address the conference’s sub-themes. While submitted abstracts may engage theoretical approaches to good practices, submissions should showcase implementation strategies and models, as well as empirical evaluation of the influences of implemented good practices.
The scope of good practices that the conference’s sub-themes encompass is broad: Good practices regarding student development, curriculum reconstruction, institutional administrative re-structuring, library and information system management, engaging faculty in quality assurance processes, among other areas of institutional performance. The conference’s sub-themes, moreover, encompass the issue of developing further the national qualifications framework.
Submissions should provide the following information:
Indicate the sub-theme to which they subscribe;
provide a 200-300 word description of the study’s (or the presentation’s, or report’s) content and aims;
Provide the participant’s name, title, organization, brief bio, phone number(s), and email address.
Submissions are accepted in Arabic or English. The abstracts are subject to a review process. Preference will be given to abstracts that present scholarly innovative perspectives, are relevant to the realities of tertiary education in the Arab world, and offer workable recommendations and new solutions to specific problems and emerging challenges.
The NBAQ especially seeks submissions from experts in the area of higher education improvement and national qualifications frameworks implementations.
The deadline for the submitting abstracts is 10th January 2018. Email abstracts to: NBAQ2018@gmail.com
Selected abstracts will be announced by the conference’s scientific committee no later than 17th January 2018.
Accepted research papers, reports, and presentations will appear on the Conferences Website and will be made available for conference registrants in both electronic and paper forms.
